ROLE: Production Associates
BACKGROUND:
Noreast Electronics is a manufacturer of power conversion Custom Magnetics for the transportation, medical and military industries. We were founded in 1977 and have built our business through a commitment to high quality products and excellent service delivered through the knowledge, enthusiasm, and experience of our dedicated employees.
Noreast is looking to fill a variety of production roles on a full time and part time basis. Available positions include soldering, wire coil winding (similar to sewing), epoxy encapsulation and product assembly.
The successful candidate should have a high school diploma, strong attention to detail and the ability to do precision work with their hands. They should also be a strong team player, that collaborates well with others, possesses a positive mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding results.

JOB TYPE: Production Associate (Full-time – Permanent Positions)
RESPONSIBILITIES: (Role Dependant)
Your responsibilities will vary be based on business requirements and individual skills but can include any combination of the following work processes:
-Wire Winding -Wire Coil Wrapping -Wire Coil Taping
-Soldering -Component Inspecting -Component Cleaning
-Varnish or Epoxy Application -Product Assembly -Product Testing
Work can also involve:
-Operating semi-automated machines
-Handling parts weighing from less than an ounce to 30 lbs (20 g – 13 kg)
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Achieved a high school diploma. – Strong attention to detail.
– Ability to do precision work with their hands. – Strong team player with a continual learning mindset.
– Working English knowledge as all work instruction is in English
(NB: An aptitude test will be administered as part of hiring process and a completed security check will be required for all successful applicants.)
COMPENSATION PLAN:
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr after 3-month probationary period
