In the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we, at Noreast Electronics are responding to the fluid situation by continually monitoring our ability to meet our customers needs with a minimum of supply interruptions.
Our primary goal is to maintain the health and safety of our workforce and our community, while ensuring that we meet our customers needs with the quality that they have come to expect from Noreast, with the least amount of supply interruptions.
To accomplish this goal, we are:
- Continually monitoring all aspects of our operation from supply network through to our production and shipping capability.
- Implementing strict measures to mitigate the risk of infection within our facilities include enhanced cleaning regimens, enforcing PPE usage by all employees and introducing in facility air filtration.
- Executing a multistage contingency plan to respond to the continually changing circumstances.
- Implementing an enhanced customer communication process to provide improved transparency on our production status and the corresponding risk to supply interruptions.
All this has been done in accordance with the recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Public Health Agency of Canada.
